"TIME TO GET AWAY" BILLBOARDS

When trapped in bumper-to-bumper traffic, one thing that resonates with disgruntled drivers is the promise of a lesser travel time to the next destination; bonus points if that destination is a conga bar in Cancun, or a beach in the Bahamas.

These billboards bring awareness to the international routes Southwest offers out of Fort Lauderdale by comparing their surprisingly short flight times to longer drive times from Fort Lauderdale to local vacation spots.

"DINING DESTINATIONS" BILLBOARDS

The same four international destinations highlighted above are close—so close that, if you left Fort Lauderdale in the morning, you could be enjoying brunch in the Bahamas; if you left after work, you could catch happy hour in Havana.

Knowing that food and culture are big motivators for international travel, we created these next billboards speaking to dining moments throughout the day to show the convenience of flying with Southwest and inspire spontaneous travel.
